The Internet Classics Archive, by Daniel C. Stevenson at MIT, has 400 online Greek and Latin texts in translation, that can be searched by keywords.

Perseus Greek and Roman Materials, with several hundred Greek and Latin works, both in English translation and in original languages.

To find all material on a mythological character in English translations of Greek and Latin texts, and in all art works in Perseus Digital Library, conduct search under "Any collection" in Perseus English Word and Phrase Search.

For listings of and links to recountings of myths in Herodotus, Apollodorus and Pausanias, go to Perseus Encyclopedia, type name in "Go to" box and hit return key.

For summaries of myths pertaining to specific characters, and literary sources, consult "Chapter materials" and "Character glossary" from web site for Morford and Lenardon's Classical Mythology, 7th edition.

Grove Art Online (this is an "an encyclopedia of 41,000 articles covering art and artists worldwide" and from all periods, with current bibliographies provided for articles; see below for printed version, with more illustrations than online version).

MLA International Bibliography (Published by the Modern Language Association of America, this database covers the years 1920s ff., and it indexes "literature, languages, linguistics, literary theory and criticism, dramatic arts, and folklore from over 4,400 journals and serials, as well as books, essay collections, working papers, proceedings, dissertations, and bibliographies."  It is therefore useful for tracking important post-classical literary sources for visual images.)

World Cat (the Library of Congress cataloging for research libraries worldwide, which often indexes books in our collection more fully than GIL cataloging. Any books not at our library can be requested through Interlibrary Loan office.)
